Education for those children who are in need in the world, is a very important element for our planet’s survival, including all living creatures that God has created. As the world get smaller and national lines blur, it’s ever more important that Christ’s mercy and compassion be evident from those who serve, to those who don’t know or understand the fundamental aspects of Jesus’s mission on earth: Love, mercy and compassion for all. The very survival of our species depends on education, skills development programs, community based fellowship and solid spiritual program which help build families, cities and nations. A faith based educational system would be a valuable asset in any society, in that it would help set up a well rounded individual who understands the concept of cooperation and good will to all peoples of the world. Global Kids Now with Cornerstone Multimedia, is using the modern tools of modern technology through music, internet, film and television, to raise awareness for those in need in the world. We are also looking to build several orphanages in Haiti that would be the home and shelter for hundreds of street kids, who without our support, may not have the chance they so do deserve.
Providing for our Haitian staff…
An educational program to the older street kids such as Wilner and Emmanuel, and others, who at the Global Kids Now orphanage, are helping to feed and shelter the younger street kids in Port- au- Prince. As former Street kids themselves, Wilner , Emmanuel, and Jean have the understanding and compassion for these children, but lack the advanced skills to further develop the younger street children’s educational needs as they start to get mature as young adults. Being self taught in reading and math, was a huge accomplishment for these young men, but they also need support to further help develop their leadership skills. Global Kids Now would like to empower these young men to make a positive difference for not only for the children but for the society as a whole and God’s grace, eradicate child slavery and homelessness that is so prevalent in Haitian society.
