We believe one of the best ways to help the children is through the world wide media. Our staff’s background spans over 25 years in the entertainment industry which includes film-making and music. With our talent’s we wanted to share with the world the harsh realities of the daily life of these children and expose the truth about what is really happening in Haiti.
Our filmmaking venture will not only reveal the current abject poverty of the children’s situation in Port au Prince, Haiti but we also will give the viewer the understanding of how and where charity is divided.
The majority of funding of this film has come from the personal capital of the founder of Haiti Kids Now. Also, each individual who was involved in this film has put in their portion of additional funding, time, experience, and efforts to help bring about this documentary.
About the Filmmakers
We are a small group of individuals from the entertainment industry, and we volunteer our time and services, using our talents to help those in need. Through music, film and other mediums, we are able to bring attention to the street children of Haiti and build a long-lasting gateway of support for their basic needs. Our faith, strength, commitment and endurance comes from the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Haiti located in the West Indies and occupies the Western third of the island of Hispañiola which it shares with the Dominican Republic. Haiti’s Capital, is Port-au- Prince and is two hours by air from Miami. The Capital has a population of 2 million. Average life expectancy is short and infant mortality is high. One third of all children die before their 5th birthday.
History: There are approximately 300,000 street and slave children in Haiti; some as young as 4 years old. Thousands more are abandoned and on the streets of Port au Prince. Due to periodic upheavals in local government, the down turn of our own US economy, the earthquake , recent hurricane, and cholera outbreak things have gotten worse. We need to bring immediate relief to the children Haiti. Haitian Kids Now Organizations is a ministry that cares and wants to see children live to see tomorrow.
Thank you for your support

Wendell was a blind since 7 years old and both parents died and left five siblings with Wendell. He supports his five siblings and five aunts children. They are all poor and don’t have many choices so Wendell is left on the street to beg for the entire family.
When Wendell sings on the street he uses a metal can with small pebbles home made musical instruments. His voice egos through the street with beautiful melody, haunting lyrics that tells his life struggle. This is Wendell’s world.
